• צור עמי ואזנה נצרים - אריאל, לאחר השקיעה (שעה מדויקת לא נרשמה)

ראיה במשקפת ללא ראייה בעין: רוי הופמן - 19:33 מעלה אדומים (תמונה מצורפת)

The new moon of Menachem-Av 5777 was seen by:

• Elihu Katz -  Ofra - 19:50
• Zur Ami Wazana Nezarim - Ariel, after sunset (exact time not mentioned)

Binocular seeing without naked eye:

Roy Hoffman - I saw the Moon tonight (Sunday 24th July 2017) with binoculars (25 x 100 mm) from Mitspe Nevo, Ma'ale Adummim, Israel starting at 19:33 (UTC+03) till it set over the mountains at 20:04 but could not see it with the naked eye. The weather conditions were hazy: temperature 29½°C, humidity 56%, pressure 954 mBar. The picture was taken at 19:58 and it contrast enhanced near the Moon by a factor of approximately two.

The new moon of Av 5776 was seen by many observers

• Roy Hoffman - I saw the Moon from Mitspe Nevo, Ma'ale Adummim, Israel tonight (Thursday 4th August 2016). The Moon and Venus were already clearly visible with 25 x 100 mm binoculars at 19:06 (UTC+03). I saw the Moon with the naked eye at 19:27 and my daughter Na'ama saw it at 19:29. The Temperature was 30½°C, humidity 39% and pressure 957 mbar. The picture, taken at 19:59, shows the Moon with Jupiter, Mercury and Venus.
