הירח החדש נראה מישראל ביום שישי (ליל שבת). הנה כמה תצפיות:
- בשעה 17:15 מעתניאל על ידי דוד שלומוביץ.
- בגבעת שמואל הצלחתי לראות את הירח דרך קרעי עננים בשעה 17:20. הירח היה קל לראייה אולם הקושי היה בכמות העננים ובמיקום שבו יש הסתרות רבות.
- מפוריה עילית הירח נראה בשעה 17:20 על ידי רבקה בידרמן.
בתצפית זו הייתה עדיפות ברורה לצופים באזורי דרום הארץ, שם השמיים היו נקיים יותר.
The new moon was seen from Israel on Friday 12-Jan-2024. Here are some observations:
- From Otniel at 17:15 by David Shlomovitz.
- From Givat Shmuel at17:20 by Gadi Eidelheit. The moon itself was very easy to see but the challenge was the clouded sky and the observation place which was not optimal.

A few words to our friends around the world. Not only has Israel suffered the worst terror activity against the nation and its people since the holocaust but in an absurd way, that no mind can accept, Israel faces trial in a court against Genocide. I don't want to go into the ridiculous and false claims since we must look at the bigger picture. Hamas terrorists planned and committed a genocide, as their objective was to kill as many Jews: males, females, babies, and senior citizens, as they could. We saw that very clearly on October 7th. They photographed and videoed their crimes, celebrated them and are very proud of them. On the other hands, Israel is fighting on its very basic right, the right to exist and live, against those in a hypocrisy show of "human rights", declare and act the opposite - That Israel does not have the right to exist. While Israel try to minimize human loss in many ways, Hamas deliberately use places like hospitals and schools for its terror activities. Hamas crimes are both against Israel and against its own people of Gaza strip.
נא לצפות בירח החדש של חודש שבט ביום שישי ב' שבט (אור לג') (ערב שבת) לאחר השקיעה. כרגיל בתצפיות בשבת, החכם עיניו בראשו ומומלץ להתפלל תפילת מנחה גדולה. בהנחה שמזג האוויר יאפשר, ראיית הירח צריכה להיות קלה.
עוד לפני כן תוכלו לעקוב בבקרים הקרובים אחרי הירח הישן של טבת. בשני בבוקר יהיה סמוך נוגה, בשלישי סמוך לכוכב חמה וברביעי זו הראייה האחרונה שלו החודש, סמוכה לאופק וגם למאדים שחוזר לשמי הבוקר לאחר שהיה זמן רב מאחורי השמש.
כהרגלנו כמה תמונות שצילמתי במהלך החודש. הראשונה צולמה בשעות האור (ביום שישי דקות לפני כניסת השבת) ובה רואים את הירח וכוכב הלכת צדק (ימין למטה). מרחקו של הירח היה 370000 קילומטרים ושל צדק כ-650 מיליון קילומטרים.

Hello All, Please look for the new moon on Friday (12-Jan-2024) after sunset. Also take a look at the old moon in the next mornings, "visiting" the planets Venus (Monday) and Mercury (Tuesday).
