- Elihu Katz - Ofra - 19:50
- Zur Ami Wazana Nezarim - Ariel, after sunset (exact time not mentioned)
Binocular seeing without naked eye:
Roy Hoffman - I saw the Moon tonight (Sunday 24th July 2017) with binoculars (25 x 100 mm) from Mitspe Nevo, Ma'ale Adummim, Israel starting at 19:33 (UTC+03) till it set over the mountains at 20:04 but could not see it with the naked eye. The weather conditions were hazy: temperature 29½°C, humidity 56%, pressure 954 mBar. The picture was taken at 19:58 and it contrast enhanced near the Moon by a factor of approximately two.
