נא לנסות ולצפות בירח החדש של חודש מרחשוון ביום שני הקרוב א' במרחשוון (לקראת אור לב') . הירח כבר התרחק הרבה מהמולד, אבל הזווית הנמוכה יכולה להקשות מעט, וכרגיל אנו ממליצים להתחיל לצפות באפילו לפני השקיעה. שימו לב לכוכבי הלכת נוגה, שנמצא בשבליו הנראים האחרונים ככוכב ערב וכוכב חמה, מרקורי, שייראה בבירור מצפון ומעל לירח. 

ראייה אחרונה של ירח תשרי תהיה אפשרית מחר יום שישי לפנות בוקר וצפויה להיות קלה מאד ללא אתגר מיוחד.

מצורפות כמה תמונות ירח ושמש מהחודש, בנוסף לתמונה של נוגה והירח ששלחנו בחודש שעבר.

Hello all,

Please try to observe the new Moon of the month of Marcheshvan this coming Monday, 12-Oct-2026. By then, the Moon will already have moved well away from the being new, but its low altitude may make observation somewhat challenging. As usual, we recommend starting to look even before sunset.

Pay attention to the planets Venus, which is now in its final visible days as the evening star, and Mercury, which should be clearly visible to the north and above the Moon.

Attached are several Moon and Sun photos from this month, along with the photo of Venus and the Moon that we sent last month.

The last sighting of the Tishrei Moon will be possible tomorrow, Friday, in the early morning hours, and it is expected to be very easy, with no particular challenge.
