הירח החדש של אדר ראשון יראה רק ביום רביעי בערב (אור לב' אדר ראשון 6/2/2019), כנראה אפילו לפני השקיעה. נא לחפש מוקדם ככל האפשר.

מחלקים בארצות הברית ודרום אמריקה תיתכן ראייה כבר ביום שלישי - צפו במפות הגלובליות.

Please look for the new moon on Wednesday 6/2/2019. Please try even before sunset as the moon will be easy to see.

ראיית הירח אדר התשע"ח - New moon Adar 5778

הירח החדש יראה מישראל בשבת ב' אדר כבר לפני השקיעה. מומלץ לנסות לצפות מוקדם. בערב שבת (שישי בערב) הירח לא יראה בעין אבל אולי באמצעות טלסקופ.
בשישי הירח יראה מארצות הברית וצפון אמריקיה הדרומית. ראו במפות הצפייה הגלובליות.

סיכום חודש שבט. קיבלתי רק שתי תצפיות עקב תנאי מזג אוויר. משה גלנץ ראה את הירח מירוחם ורבקה בידרמן ראתה  מפוריה עילית. שניהם בשעה 17:15. הנה תמונה של רבקה בידרמן

The new moon shall be visible from Israel on Saturday 17-Feb from sunset. Please try to see the moon as early as possible. The night before (Friday 16-Feb) the moon might be visible with a telescope but not with the naked eye,.

The moon shall be visible from the US and the northern parts of South-America on Friday 16-Feb. See the global viewing maps for reference.

Shvat summary - I received two reports. Moshe Glantz saw the moon from Yerucha and Rebecca Biderman from Poriya Ilit. both saw the moon at 17:15. Rebecca's photo is attached above.

The new moon was seen in Israel on Monday 27-2-2017

• Roy Hoffman - I saw the Moon this evening (Monday 27th February 2017) from Givat Ram, Jerusalem, Israel. The Moon appeared with binoculars (25 x 100 mm) in a clear patch of sky at 17:39 (UTC+02) and to the naked eye in another clear patch of sky at 17:58. The Moon disappeared behind the clouds at 18:04. The sky was partially cloudy and somewhat hazy. Temperature 15°C, humidity 36%, pressure 925 mBar.
• Tom Rosenfeld - z found the moon behind a mist of clouds at 17:53 with binoculars. By 6:00 it totally disappeared behind a low cloud-bank. Could not see it without binos

From outside of Israel

• Augustus Paul - Dominica - It was 18:24 when I caught sight of the biblical twelfth new moon, eleven minutes after the sun set at 18:13, this Monday evening 27th February 2017 without a single bit of cloud hindrance.

הכנה לירח אדר התשע"ז Prepare for new moon Adar 5777

פרטים על אפשרויות ראיית הירח החדש מישראל בימים שני ושלישי. ביום שני הראייה אפשרית ולא קשה במיוחד וביום שלישי הראייה קלה מאד (אין צורך לדווח על ראייה ביום שלישי). גם ברוב אירופה ובכל ארצות הברית הראייה תהיה אפשרית כבר ביום שני.

Details about new moon seeing from Israel on Monday and Tuesday 27 and 28 February 2017. On Monday the seeing will be of average difficulty and on Tuesday it will be very easy (No need to report about seeing on Tuesday). The seeing will be possible on Monday from Europe and the US.
