הירח נראה מישראל ומשאר העולם ביום חמישי, א' בתשרי תשע"ח (2017-09-21). נראה לי שהתצפיתן של החודש חייב להיות אוגוסטוס פאול שהצליח לצפות מהריסות ביתו שהושמד שלושה ימים קודם לכן ע"י הוריקן מריה ודיווח על התצפית מיד שמישהו נתן לו חשמל ווויי-פיי.

The new Moon was seen from Israel and around the World on Thursday 21st September 2017. I think that the observer of the month has to be Augustus Paul who managed to observe from the ruins of his house that was destroyed three days earlier by Hurricane Maria and reported his sighting as soon as someone gave him electricity and wi-fi.
