התמונה הבאה צולמה ב31-12-2016 בלפלנד הרחוקה, קו גובה 65 מעלות צפון בכפר בשם גונרן. השמש זורחת בעשר בבוקר ושוקעת בשעה שתיים ובשיא גובהה מגיעה לשתי מעלות מעל האופק בלבד.

The above photo is a great one from Lapland (!) Where the sun rises at 10:00 and sets at 14:00.
Mr. Kjell Holmner, that he observed and photographed the Chodesh from the village of Gunnarn, Swedish Lapland (at 65° 0' 52.2" N and 17° 41' 19.2" E, about 270 m above sea level) on the 31st at 15:33 local time (UT+1h), in a small "opening" between the clouds.
